**Your New Role**
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure material ESG issues are incorporated into the Fund’s investment programs, taking a lead and oversight role on some components.
- Assist the internal investment teams in incorporating ESG issues into valuations and providing commentary on ESG issues, taking a lead and oversight role on some components.
- Assist in the ownership program (including engagement) with investee companies (boards or senior management), taking a lead role in setting the engagement agenda and holding the meeting in some instances.
- Assist in thematic programs of work and influencing investment teams on strategic ESG themes.
In addition to the above, the role may involve assisting on other key activities undertaken by the team including:
- Assist the Fund in meeting its obligations including reporting and the responsibilities of the various initiatives to which it is a signatory. Assisting in the development of due diligence or ownership frameworks and ESG and Stewardship policies for the Fund.
**What You’ll Need**
- Demonstrated experience within Financial Services or a consulting firm, or in a ESG focused role within other industries
- Exposure to one or more unlisted asset classes such as infrastructure, real estate, private equity or private credit (highly desirable)
- A strong passion for sustainability and ESG topics
- Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with internal investors, senior internal and external stakeholders, senior representatives of assets and service providers
- Proven experience in research, completing due diligence and providing advice
- Ability to synthesise and communicate complex information to different level of audiences and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and self-management skills Tertiary qualifications likely in Business, Commerce, Environmental Science or Finance
