Our New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL) framework ensures we are explicitly teaching 'the 6 Cs' to create globally aware, creative, critically thinking and socially aware young citizens.As a teacher - Technology, you will be part of a dynamic team that engages students through digital and practical platforms. There is a high level of support provided, with an induction program for new staff that provides support at all levels, within and outside of the classroom. Our team strives to be innovative and works to create a vibrant learning environment along with a strong sense of collegiality.As the Teacher you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes and groups.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
- Contribute to and assist with the management and further development of personnel, financial, information and technology, assets and facilities resources of the school to ensure their optimum use in meeting educational and departmental objectives.
Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate. The principal provides educational leadership for the school and sets the general direction and ethos for all staff, students and community members. The successful applicant would ideally have a strong background in industrial graphics and digital technology, with the ability to teach in the engineering or construction fields a desirable qualification.
