Coolum Beach Christian College is seeking a passionate and versatile Secondary Teacher to join our team for Term 4. This contract role includes teaching across Mathematics, Humanities, Modern History, and Social & Community Studies. CBCC was founded in 2004 by Coolum Christian Family Church to provide quality education grounded in biblical Christian principles. Today, we serve over 500 students from daycare through Year 12, united by our mission to Transform Lives. About the Role
This Term 4 contract position involves teaching a mix of junior and senior secondary classes, with a focus on:
- Mathematics (Years 7–10)
- Humanities (Years 7–10)
- Senior Modern History
- Senior Social & Community Studies
Consideration can be given to splitting the role across part-time subject specialists.
You'll be part of a supportive team, working collaboratively to deliver curriculum that reflects a Christian worldview and meets the diverse needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with ACARA and QCAA requirements
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
- Integrate Christian values into teaching and classroom culture
- Assess and report on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student wellbeing and academic growth
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Experience teaching in one or more of the listed subject areas
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of CBCC
