TOM Executive are currently supporting one of our large Australian clients with their recruitment campaign for a new Procurement Manager. Our client are a leader in the gaming sector and with an exciting period change on the horizon they are looking to supplement an already strong Procurement team with an experienced hire.

The day to day of the role will involve,
- Delivering full suite category management and procurement across a number of services within the business.
- Drive the procurement strategy that will reflect current market trends, the needs of the business as well as budget and innovation implications.
- Undertake analysis alongside Senior Management to develop initiatives and strategies from planning to inception.
- Being heavily involved in negotiations with new vendors through market analysis and profiling of various suppliers.
- A degree background in a relevant discipline (Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance).
- A minimum of 2 years within category management.
- Comfortable stakeholder manager, both internal and external - able to showcase excellent communication skills at all times.
- Strong technical skills, comfortable with MS Office and various procurement systems.
