New Opportunity within the public sector to join the Environmental Health & Immunisation Program.

**Your new company**
Our client is a local south Brisbane based authority. They are looking to engage an Environmental Health Officer to join their Environmental Health and Immunisation Program. This role delivers regular services such as licensing, inspections, and complaint investigations, following the authority’s obligations and policies.

**Your new role**
In your new role, you will be managing an allocated licensing, inspection, and investigation case load, ensuring all activities are delivered according to timeframe, budget, policy and legislation. As well as:

- Investigate/respond to complaints provided by customers
- Develop reports, legislative, and other correspondence relating to licensing, inspections, and complaint investigation
- planning and delivery of change or continuous improvement projects
- Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Level 2: Developing knowledge of Queensland's public and environmental health legislation, good communication skills and the ability to research and analyse issues.
- Level 4: experience in a similar role, ability to prioritise workloads in relation to risk, Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland's public and environmental health legislation
- Level 5: work under general direction, demonstrated customer relationship skills and the ability to translate complex information, Proven ability to undertake complex investigations and proven ability to judge based on experience where procedures are not clearly identified

**What you'll get in return**
Our client is offering a 38-hour work week, with the initial contract until June 30th. Possibility to extend based on budget and performance. Looking at around $33-$48 dollars per hour, depending on which level you come in on.
