**Role Overview**:As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of retail stores within the Melbourne area. Your primary focus will be on maximizing sales, optimizing operations, and ensuring consistent brand representation. By leading and inspiring your team of store managers and team leaders, you will play a pivotal role in achieving business objectives and driving customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of store managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success and the achievement of sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, increase market share, and enhance profitability across all stores.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and develop effective business strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to drive operational efficiency, inventory management, wages and cost control.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, optimize visual merchandising, and enhance brand presence in-store.
- Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service standards, resolving escalated customer issues, and promoting brand loyalty.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance with operational standards, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on sales performance, market insights, and operational efficiency to senior management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Area Manager or similar role within the retail industry, preferably in the mobile phone sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Sound knowledge of the mobile phone or similar industry, market trends, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities, develop effective strategies, and drive business growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel within the Melbourne area as required.
