**Area Manager - VIC**

**About the Company**
This company is a small family operated business established nearly 20 years ago. It is a creative retail concept that showcases Australian designers in an artistic shopping environment. Each store is forever updated with new stock and one off pieces, that makes each visit a new experience for their loyal customers.

**About the Role**
The Area Manager is responsible for the performance of all 3 sites and the people within them. The role is largely focused around managing relationships with designers and helping to develop their presence and business within the stores.

This is a hybrid role, working between the Windsor based office and the 3 stores all based in Melbourne Inner City Suburbs

**Your Responsibilities**
- Proactively source and seek out new designers to come into the stores
- Help manage the designers’ entry process into the stores and ensure all information is provided to the relevant store manager and new designer
- Monitor and manage the store managers and ensure their store team is performing as expected
- Oversee designer sales progress with the help of the managers, communicate with them on an ongoing basis and ensure all is being done to maximise their sales in store and secure a long term relationship
- Manage rostering and be the point of contact for filling in shifts when needed.
- Support managers in store and on the floor where needed (entering stock, re-merchandising, sales, store room management)
- Set budgets and drive sales in the stores
