Operation Officer, Treasury Operations

It’s a fun and exciting time to join ING, Australia’s most recommended bank for the 3rd year running We’re on the hunt for a **Operation Officer, Treasury Operations** to join our dynamic and growing team Operation team

This position is responsible for undertaking the processing requirements for all treasury activities including RTGS Payments, Money Market, Derivatives, Fixed Income in AUD and other foreign currencies in accordance with Bank policy to ensure proper control, data integrity, timeliness and accountability is maintained at all times.

Please note that this is a 6 months secondment.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Responsible for Settlement of Swaps, Loans, NCD’s and FX trades for Treasury Front Office
- Managing and investigating cash queries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Mitigating Risk by effectively managing key controls and procedures within the team
- Actioning retail and commercial SWIFT payments to meet settlement service requirements
- Maintaining security of operational systems, ie. Austraclear/Exigo, RITS, SWIFT

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- At least 12 months Banking/Finance industry experience, preferably in the back office environment.
- Degree qualifications in Economics/Finance.
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
- Working knowledge in payment systems such as SFE Austraclear, RITS and SWIFT.
- Strong analytical skills.
