Treasury Operations Officer

ScotPac is seeking a Treasury Operations Officer to join our Sydney team. In this pivotal role, you will work to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, reconciliations, and banking operations across our wholesale funding and trust accounts. Our Purpose

How you will make an impact:

You will provide transactional banking solutions to internal and external Stakeholders. This role will be focused on ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions as well as recording, reconciling, and reporting of all financial transactions conducted through ScotPacs wholesale funding / trust account arrangements and the interaction with operational teams. This will involve working with several stakeholders including Banks, Trustees, internal operations, sales, IT and compliance.

What you will do:

• Manage our internal Treasury Operation services ticketing system for all internal queries related to banking.
• Monitor and escalate Bank payment feeds to ensure all incoming and outgoing funds are processed in a timely manner
• Validate  Bank transactions and confirmation of balance feeds into core sub-ledger systems
• Manage internal fund transfers across Trust funding accounts to ensure clients collections are properly accounted for.
• Treasury and client manual payments
• Maintain the bank signatory register and add/remove bank account signatories and users
• Apply for bank guarantee related to clients and maintain internal register.
• Open, close and novate bank accounts.
• Opening/allocate Client segment accounts
• Monthly control process to apply account fee maintenance.
• Maintain and enhance the financial control environment in relation to cash, including the interaction of finance in end-to-end operational processes

What you will bring with you:

• 3+ years experience in a similar Operations role in the Financial Services industry or a similar corporate environment.
• Strong team player, motivated and lifting the performance of operations teams.
• Good Excel skills.
• Degree qualified CA or CPA – desirable, not critical
