**About the Role**

The Workshop Team Leader - _Rental Repairs_ is a productive member of a team responsible for carrying out and ensuring the quality of a wide range of repairs to customer leased forklifts at TMHA’s facilities in accordance with the customer’s requirements and within the company’s guidelines and procedures.

They are also responsible to assist in coordinating and directing workshop technicians as required.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Carrying out work allocated by the Supervisor in accordance with TMH’s quality standards;
- Completing all associated paperwork;
- Ensuring all work is carried out within the standard allowed times and is scheduled to meet required delivery dates;
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the progress of all current jobs;
- Ensuring Apprentices are under correct supervision and all times and monitoring their level of training as required;
- Ensuring all equipment receives a final QA inspection;
- Ensuring condition and presentation of workshop is maintained to standard;
- Monitoring the behaviour and work ethic of the technicians and initiate disciplinary action as required;

**Skills and experience**:

- Relevant trade qualification;
- Experience in maintenance of IC and/or battery electric forklifts;
- Previous experience in a similar role (desired);
- Ability to relate to technicians and customers explanation of technical requirements;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to negotiate with employees, internal customers and suppliers;
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to be honest and ethical in all dealings;
- Strong ability to work as part of team.
