**The role**

In this role you will be the supporting the team (including HO and Manager) in developing strategies, propositions and recommendations that unlocks value across PEB and enables PEB’s long term growth.

**Your new role awaits.**

You will work closely with Head of Strategy, Innovation and Propositions to deliver on team objectives and key results, including:

- **PEB Strategic Planning **- support direction setting and planning for the future by working closely with Executives to ensure PEB’s strategy is translated into clear and executable plans in the strategic planning cycle
- **Business Strategy and Performance **- grow the existing business by partnering with executives for strategic reviews into high priority strategic issues in PEB’s existing business
- **Innovation & Proposition **- explore and develop opportunities for new growth and/or new propositions for PEB, and bringing thought leadership, relevant & actionable insights to PEB to support existing strategy and future growth opportunities

CAPABILITIES
- Highly flexible and adaptable to business needs and working styles of immediate team, key stakeholder and broader business, while navigating uncertainty and constantly changing environment.
- Highly developed business acumen, understanding of business drivers, strong financial / commercial orientation
- Highly motivated, self driven and strong desire to learn about the Personal Everyday Banking business
- Proven ability to develop concise and compelling presentations, business cases and strategic recommendations supported by data for senior leaders, executives and boards
- Highly strategic thinking and analytical skills for diverse and complex problem solving, with the ability to think across multiple horizons, dimensions and effectively leverage multiple data sources
- Proven ability to work under pressure, multitask and simultaneously manage multiple projects, leveraging strong relationship management and influencing skills, across a broad set of internal and external stakeholders

EXPERIENCE - Relevant experience in the following areas:

- Professional strategy consulting/advisory practices
- Banking and financial services industry experience
- Strategy development, strategic planning, innovation practices, and new product/proposition development
- Navigating internal operations of a bank and/or large corporate organisations

QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in commerce, banking, finance, management, business or equivalent desirable
