What does the job look like?

As the Commercial Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance across our Grocery consumer business with operations throughout Australia. Based in Erskine Park NSW, you will manage the financial and commercial aspects of multiple customer contracts while supporting the growth and development of our operations.

You’ll lead a small team of analysts and work closely with senior management, business development, and operational teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes. Your insights and leadership will help shape strategic decisions, improve financial performance and relationships with core customers.

Key deliverables include:

- Lead commercial governance and financial performance across key customer contracts
- Develop and present business cases and financial models for new and existing opportunities
- Support customer reviews, renewals, and contract implementations
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Ensure accurate billing, revenue capture, and compliance with contractual terms
- Drive continuous improvement and identify cost efficiencies
- Partner with operational teams to understand business drivers and influence outcomes
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts

Are you the one?

You are a commercially astute leader with a strong background in transport, logistics, or a similar industry. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about driving performance and building strong customer relationships.

You can demonstrate:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior commercial or finance role
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA preferred)
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel proficiency essential)
- Experience managing P&L and delivering commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A hands-on approach with a focus on action and results
- Familiarity with SAP and other financial systems
