**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This role manages and co-ordinates supply, logistics and materials management, including management of the stores across the CPS WA business. The role is responsible for physical set up and virtual management of materials as well as the establishment of associated effective and efficient practices/ processes

Strategically, this role will ensure that the right materials are in the right place at the right time, to enable production and field employees to deliver against the business plan and contractual obligations.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

The role will work closely with other internal business units across the broader Ampcontrol Group to ensure best practice materials management is applied for team success.

Your key duties will include:

- Manage & track of incoming materials to meet set standards for goods inspections and quality control
- Support Supplier Reviews to ensure high performance levels of DIFOT and quality is established and sustained
- Coordinate transport & management of dispatch process for outgoing products to meet project requirements
- Support New Product Introduction - ensuring materials requirements are setup (Complete Job BOM Review prior to Job Start)
- Champion approach of Lean 5S for Material Storage in Store and in Yard
- Support timely Production via coordination of material pick & job shortage reporting
- Ensure documentation related to inbound and outbound goods are completed on time to required standards

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in business, supply chain, operations, engineering or similar (preferred)
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role within a relevant industry
- Proven ability to manage supplier/ customer expectations and relationships
- Well honed capability to improve and maintain organised store function and the personality to influence others to work within the guidelines
- Demonstrated experience in collaboratively resolving both technical and people management problems
- Natural passion in championing change with a strong focus on quality
- Preferred capability with Lean methodologies and a strong continuous improvement mindset
- Previous experience managing a group of people, especially performance review / management / engagement
