**CNC Plate Cutting - Machine Operator**

Located in Perth, Di Candilo Steel City is a privately-owned company specialising in steel supplies and steel processing. Our purpose-built facilities house the latest machine cutting technology including laser, HD plasma and profile. With a 50 plus strong skilled workforce, we are the preferred choice for all things steel, retail, wholesale, and manufacturing.

We supply a broad range of steel products to a variety of industries. A vast majority of these steel supplies are used in mining, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, agricultural and other support areas. We are also one of the few steel suppliers in Perth who still service the retail market for the tradesman, small fabricator, or do-it-yourself weekend warrior.

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Machine Operator to join our team. If you're highly organised, take initiative, and have a knack for guiding others, this is your chance to step into a role that offers development into future leadership.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Operating CNC plate cutting machines with a high standard of accuracy and efficiency
- Interpreting technical drawings and job sheets to ensure quality outcomes
- Working closely with a small team to keep production on track
- Taking ownership of daily schedules and assisting with workflow coordination
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

**We're looking for someone who**:

- Has solid experience operating CNC or laser cutting machinery
- Can read and understand fabrication drawings
- Is organised, proactive, and solution-focused
- Communicates clearly and works well under pressure
- Has a strong sense of responsibility and leads by example

**What we offer**:

- Fulltime hours, 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am - 12pm Saturdays.
- A fulltime, permanent position with weekly pay, penalty rates and regular overtime

**Required**:

- Forklift licence (current)
- Valid Driver's licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
