We are searching for a collaborative Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at the Dandenong bakery. This role will support the QA Manager while working closely with our site leadership team and front-line operators in driving QA initiatives. The role will also be required to provide support to our Bendigo site where you will need to travel to Bendigo once a week/fortnight depending on requirements.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and maintain the site quality management systems with a focus on ensuring internal and external compliance requirements.
- Ensure product food safety and quality standards are met
- Working collaboratively with the site team to achieve targets and milestones in Food Safety & Quality
- Provide training and coaching of the site teams on Food safety and quality standards
- Support Internal Audit program
- Maintain site quality management systems and general administrative duties
- Support the QA Manager with managing onsite audits
- Compile accurate and timely reports to site and regional management
- Coordinate consumer complaint investigations

About You
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Food industry background and/or bakery industry will be highly regarded
- Tertiary Qualification in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology
- Highly collaborative approach with strong communication skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
