**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Logistics Assistant to join Facilities Management, Administrative Division.

The Logistics Assistant in Facilities Management, Division of Administrative Services is responsible for providing mail and courier services to the University. The QUT Logistics Centre is located at the Kelvin Grove campus and services the Gardens Point campus and external sites from this location. The position works as part of a team of staff providing mail and courier services to the University and there will be some variation to the actual range of duties carried out on each site according to local circumstances

Administrative Division supports the governance and operations of the University, including planning and quality, facilities and services for students and staff. The Administrative Division is led by the Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar.

**What you need to succeed**

As a strong communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate the shared QUT Values in your approach to work.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of Year 12.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and perform additional tasks when required consistent with the classification of the position.
- Demonstrated communication skills withthe ability to effectively answer queries from staff and students and provide a high level of customer service.
- A current drivers’ licence for a “C” Class vehicle.
- Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with colleagues, and work effectively within a team.
- Digital literacy including the ability to successfully use basic features of data base, spreadsheet, electronic mail and mainframe records management systems
