Role description
- Inspiring the team through a shared vision and purpose aligned with wider business strategy, ensuring each team member can make a contribution.
- Overseeing all fittings and ensuring final product quality has been achieved before approving and proceeding to manufacturing stages.
- Taking responsibility for the on-time delivery for all markets and working with the relevant Departments to ensure this is achieved.
- Inspiring the team through a shared vision and purpose aligned with wider business strategy, ensuring each team member can make contribution.
- Managing the workflow of the team to ensure they deliver upon production KPIs.
- Identifying skill gaps and providing honest feedback, development and coaching to build capability
- Managing the critical pathway and understanding the process end to end
- Communicate with and manage existing and new supplier relationships and communicating with internal teams on factory changes.
- Train, the mentor, oversee, and support a team of production coordinators, assistants, and garment techs.
- Work closely with the sales and design team to communicate on needs, problems, and new processes.
- Work closely with the sales team on timelines, schedules, and range calendars.
- Conduct weekly Sales & Production meetings
- Oversee consistent Quality Control of inventory with in-house Garment Tech
- Design and oversee shipping methods and shipping schedules for shipments and communicating to internal teams.
- Experienced target price negotiation based on previous garment experience and communication with the factory.
- Design & deliver detailed analysis and reporting on production schedules, capacities, timelines, and volume to the team.

About you:

- 5 years' experience within Production.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, with an ability to build rapport.
- Strong business acumen and results driven.
- Ability to successfully lead and manage a team.
- People management experience
- Previous experience with luxury products
- Strong knowledge of the high end fabric market, garment manufacturing, construction, specification, and development.
- Ability to work well in high pressure and deadline-driven environments
- Strong people skills and effective communication skills
- Strong local and international market experience
- Organised and strategic approach in designing schedules and timelines for the sales team.
