Acts Care Ltd is looking for a professional disabilities support worker to join our team.

We are looking for a self
- motivated, English speaking, articulate person to fill the role of disabilities support worker within our company.

**Job description**
- You will be directly supporting the wellbeing of our Participants through understanding their needs, preferences, interests and working towards their NDIS goals.
- You will be providing a range of support services including personal care, health, exercise and community experiences. This role enables our Participants to live a quality life with dignity, respect and social inclusion.
- Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities
- Written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, including effectively communicating with Participants and team members from a diverse range of backgrounds and groups.
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Adhering to privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.

**Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Disability) - OR equivalent work experience within the sector**

**QLD Blue Card and Workers Screening Card**

**Covid 19 Immunisation**

**Drivers Licence**

**Ownership and maintenance of own Vehicle with Full Comprehensive Insurance**

**Current First Aid Certificate and CPR**

**Sound Literacy and Numeracy skills**

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $61.00 per hour

- Crows Nest: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Pay: $31.00 - $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
