We are seeking a** **Full-time Practice Supervisor** **to join our caring, compassionate and friendly team in** **Varsity Lakes** **until **31 December 2027.**

Overseeing the practice of a small team of Family Support Practitioners who provide early intervention and case management services to families that are at risk of entering or re-entering the child protection system, key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the professional practice of your team.
- Managing a restricted caseload which involves delivering our family case-management program to families, caregivers, kids and young people.
- Being an active consultant in your area of expertise.
- Regularly attending and participating in case consultations and reviews.
- Facilitating social learning, community connectedness, good health and wellbeing in families.
- Working with and referring to other professionals and stakeholders utilising an ecological model.
- Engaging families, obtaining consent and developing a case plan in conjunction with the family which addresses identified needs and child protection concerns.
- Promoting the Intensive Family Support role and functions to key partner agencies and the community.

**About you...**
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
- Professional registration (if required).
- Membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
- At least five (5) years’ experience providing case-management and therapeutic services to families, caregivers, young people and children in a child protection framework.
- Relevant experience leading and supervising team members in similar practice related positions.
- Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to communicate and work effectively with families from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Ability to lead and build a strong, cohesive team in alignment with Act for Kids’ values.
- Ability to support teams that are located rurally and geographically dispersed.

**About the pay...**
- Position is classified Level 6.1 - 6.3 under the SCHCADS award.
- Salary range is $96,970 - $101,251 plus superannuation (pro-rata for part-time).
- In addition, as a registered Not for Profit/Charity, we offer excellent salary packaging options through RemServ which can significantly increase your take home pay.
