**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee and manage various aspects of horticultural activities and operations relating to teams on site. You will lead a team of **10 **Team Leaders,** 5** Team Members and** 5** Apprentices. You will be responsible for **50 **different commercial sites.
- Oversee the team's on-site activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
- Participate in performance reviews to provide feedback and support the professional growth of team members.
- Proactively raise any workplace health and safety (WHS) issues to the State Manager or WHS Advisor for timely resolution.
- Actively participate in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss safety updates, share insights, and address concerns.
- Conduct regular WHS inspections to identify potential hazards and promptly report findings to relevant stakeholders.

**About You**:

- Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
- Valid White Card
- Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Valid Drivers' license.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
