**About the role**
The Regulatory Affairs Analyst supports the team in managing Youi's regulatory engagement, ensuring compliance with Youi’s Regulatory standards.
**Ways of working**
This position is located at our headquarters on the Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs.
We operate with a hybrid approach, requiring office presence from Tuesday to Thursday on location, while offering the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
**Key priorities**
- Regulatory Correspondence: Coordinate and manage regulatory correspondence, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Support Senior leaders to engage with Regulators effectively, transparently, and proactively.
- Draft communications to regulators.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to coordinate regulatory responses and to influence internal business stakeholders when required.
- Document & Calendar Management: Maintain a regulatory engagement calendar, ensuring timely action and responses.
- Reporting: Report on regulatory engagement and proactively monitor and report on emerging regulations and trends.
- Advice & Support: Provide timely, accurate regulatory advice to the business and respond to inquiries.
- Project Support: Contribute to special projects and support the broader Compliance team.
- Workplace Safety: Adhere to WHS policies and ensure safety standards are met.
- Team Culture: Promote a collaborative environment that reflects Youi’s values.
**About you**
**Experience & Knowledge**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance, communications or similar role within Financial Services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Australian legislation and regulations.
- Knowledge of the general insurance market.
- High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organisational abilities.
