**What can you expect?**
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Managing Principal to join Marsh. Working within our Corporate Practice, you will be responsible for the growth, profitability and client satisfaction of a book of business containing large and complex accounts. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, pursuing new business development, and expanding and diversifying the mix of Marsh products and services the client holds.

**We will count on you to**:
- Maintain and grow personal relationships and a book of business, and contribute to team sales targets
- Conduct and analyse research to maintain a comprehensive understanding of personal accounts and coinciding business needs, as well as core team accounts to maintain a comfortable handle on the portfolio at large
- Utilise risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs
- Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects
- Identify expansion opportunities for personal and team accounts, leveraging an advanced understanding of internal service and product offerings, market trends and developments and the business standing of specific accounts
- Define the strategy for custom solution development for the team portfolio for the designated mid-market or small geography, communicating product and solution sales targets, compensation and pricing expectations
- Attend and participate in industry events and conferences and client functions to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company and its product offerings and solutions
**We would like you to have**:
- Experience within a corporate insurance environment, with expertise across all general lines of insurance
- Strong insurance market knowledge and relationships
- Insurance broker’s license
- Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business function, finance and issues
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite
- Ability to prioritise work, multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
**What makes you stand out?**
- 10+ plus years’ experience within Insurance broking
- A sound understanding of business and organisational risk management
- Prior experience managing a portfolio of complex accounts
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of insurance and strategic client engagement
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Tier 1 FSRA Compliance is essential and a tertiary qualification will be highly regarded but not essential
