Sun Engineering is seeking a SMP Construction Manager to support us in our Mineral Resource Construction Projects. The applicant must be prepared to consider FIFO rosters.

**Specific tasks and responsibilities**:
The Construction Manager is responsible for overall project **planning and scheduling**, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, whilst providing technical direction & ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Construction Manager’s responsibilities cover areas of project planning, cost management, scheduling, quality management, contract administration and safety management

**You will have**:

- Tertiary Qualifications (Advantageous)
- Previous mill experience.
- Demonstrated capability on Mechanical / Piping Construction projects
- Ensuring the safety of all aspects of a project.
- Development and implementation of construction methodologies.
- Scheduling/Programming -preparation, setting of milestones and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Progress Reporting - Internally and client focused.
- Management of project specific Quality Assurance requirements - ensure final product is to necessary quality standard/level.
- Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, timeframes, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project,
staffing requirements, and allocation of resources.
- Schedule/Programme - preparation, setting of milestones and ensuring timely completion of projects.
