Verifact Traffic is highly regarded within the Traffic Management sector, supplying Traffic Control throughout Queensland.

Due to continued growth and success, our business requires an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our corporate team on a full-time basis. This role is scheduled for an immediate start.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a very ‘hands-on’ and diverse role, **which includes the following responsibilities**:

- Lead Recruitment and Selection - end to end in-house recruitment and selection;
- On-boarding of new staff and facilitating induction sessions;
- Management of Employee Uniform Allocation and Ordering;
- Assist with Employee Relations and Grievance Handling - providing support and assistance to managers with grievance handling, dispute resolution and performance management concerns;
- Worker's Compensation Management - management of all worker's compensation claims including Return to Work Coordination;
- Assist with Performance Management and Employee Development - ensuring that managers are meeting the required timeframes for reviews and providing training & guidance to managers on the process. Participate in the talent development cycle, including succession and career planning process;
- Industrial and Legal Compliance - ensuring that policies, procedures and practices are compliant with relevant legislation and developing new documentation when required;
- Lead HR Initiatives and Projects - service and reward recognition programs, conducting research, liaising with the business & involvement with the implementation
- Drive analysis and response to Employee Surveys in line with business needs;
- Co-ordinate bi-annual culture survey and communicate company actions.
- Various HR Reporting.

- Confident in liaising with all levels of the business and have high attention to detail.

- Have an ability to facilitate change as the organisation drives cultural transformation through the implementation of new guiding principles, processes and procedures.
- Have an ability to audit processes thus ensuring compliance and process improvement.
- Be capable of dealing with strong personalities; &
- Have a strong ability to work in a team, whilst also being able to work autonomously.

**Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following experience**:

- A minimum of two years experience in a generalist HR position.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources, industrial relations or similar.
- Hold current Certificate IV Work Health & Safety or above;
- Knowledge of the worker's compensation system and Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work requirements and case management
- Extensive HR operational experience and HR generalist exposure.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong business acumen is essential.
- Experience with Preceda is desirable, but not essential.
