**Role Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance**:

- Plans, arranges, implements and provides preventative maintenance programs for all plant, machinery, equipment, and buildings.
- Manages and assigns resources for all unplanned maintenance and minor works.
- Ensures that proper records of all maintenance activities are kept in accordance with statutory requirements and management policies.
- Coordinates and monitors external contractor services.
- Ensure Quality Assurance is maintained in all facets of maintenance delivery.
- Order and maintain adequate essential engineering/maintenance spare parts, consumable supplies and tooling as necessary and ensure safe storage of supplies, particularly about hazardous goods.

**Personnel**:

- Coordinates and supervises day to day operations of maintenance service including staff, casual,labour and contract engineering engaged in maintenance or repairs of buildings, plant or equipment.
- Ensures compliance with legislative requirements in relation to staff licensing, WHS and plant operation.
- Advises and assists maintenance staff on problem solving and repairs.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process for maintenance staff.
- Conduct training and guidance to maintenance personnel.
- Champions and drives positive change within the Maintenance Department.

**Financial**:

- Operating and maintaining expenditures within weekly and monthly budgets.
- In consultation with the Plant Manager, allocating the annual maintenance budget.
- Monitors and incurs payment of all maintenance related services and expenditures.

**Skills/Competencies**:

- Trade or Engineering qualification
- Significant previous experience in maintenance management systems relevant to the position.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities including effective problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of specialist equipment such as, but not limited to, gas fired boiler and refrigeration systems,
- Well-developed oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Current and Unencumbered Class C Drivers Licence
- Developed computer literacy with Maintenance Management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Takes other's perspective's into consideration
- Must be energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement
- Makes self fully available as required

**Desirable**:

- Current SA Trade Certificate.
- Rendering Ticket.
- Advanced Boiler Ticket
- Certified Competency in and holder of permit for maintenance of reticulated LP gas systems and servicing of Air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- High Risk Forklift Licence.
- Confined Spaces Ticket.
- Working at Heights Ticket.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
