Cosy Home and Community Care is an NDIS provider that is committed to delivering high-quality care to people in their homes with support services tailored to their individual needs.

Cosy Home and Community Care is looking to hire reliable Support Workers for our client in Heidelberg.

Key Responsibilities:
Strengthen client’s capacity to manage and maintain their health and daily life needs
Prompt client to carry out personal care tasks in a non-demanding way
Support client in participating and engaging at home in daily tasks and in the community
Carry out domestic duties for client including meal preparation, household management, bed making, dusting, laundry, etc.
Assist the client in accessing community activities such as shopping, recreation, leisure, and school activities to enable them to stay connected

Skills and Experience:

- Minimum 2 years as disability support worker with experience working in SIL house
- Must have experience providing personal care & community support to clients
- Must be tech-savvy
- Ability to learn new skills with the client
- Must have a positive attitude as well as a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality

Mandatory Job Requirements:

- Australian citizen or Right to Work in Australia
- CPR certificate
- First aid (HLTAID011 or HLTAID012)
- NDIS worker screening check
- Working With Children Check
- Work right visa/ proof of citizenship
- COVID-19 vaccination with booster shot
- Full Driver's License
- Car Registration and Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support or above
- Other certifications:
NDIS Orientation Certificate (or willing to obtain)
NDIS COVID-19 Training Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Shifts: Monday - Sunday (flexible, 8-hour shifts, Day shifts, Afternoon shifts, sleepover shifts)

**Salary**: $28.99 - $32 per hour

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.68 - $31.90 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 Vaccination with booster shot

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kew VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
