
Graduate Claims Associate

We are seeking a talented individual to join our **Echelon Claims**team at **Marsh**. This role will be based in **Melbourne, VIC**. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a **Graduate** **Claims Associate**, your role is integral to the delivery of claims management services to our clients. You will handle a portfolio of general insurance claims for Local Government clients, with a focus on liability claims.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a soon-to-be graduate, recent graduate with a law degree, or someone with less than a year experience in general insurance claims.
**We will count on you to**:
- Manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims;
- Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with various third parties;
- Build and maintain rapport with clients;
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.
**What you need to have**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong customer service approach;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Law, or Business/Commerce.
