**The Opportunity**

This role is integral to our P-8A Program. You will learn our particular program requirements and work closely with various internal stakeholders and our Global Trade Controls function (GTC) on matters relating to the operational aspects of the Programs Export and Import requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Operational day-to-day execution and administration of the Program's trade control tasks.
- Guidance on a variety of import and export compliance requirements, including program specific obligations under relevant Australian and US export authorizations.
- Management of import and export authorities once approved, including ongoing engagement to ensure they stay aligned to Contracted statement of work.
- Guidance and support around the logístical movement of goods and technology and compliance with approved export and import authorities.
- In partnership with GTC, support training objectives for on going education and awareness around trade controls.
- In partnership with GTC, plan and conduct import and export compliance assessments and objective testing for the Program.
- Identify opportunities and implement best practices to increase the Programs overall awareness of compliance requirements.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Experience/ Qualifications**
- Knowledge of or exposure to import and export practices.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to engage, influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
- Process orientated with attention to detail.
