The DCS Team within the C&I Customers Business Unit defines and executes market growth strategies, product innovation and provides key analytics and commercial support to deliver on the vision of being the decarbonisation partner of choice for Australian businesses.

Role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the solution design, testing and prototyping of new E-Mobility propositions, including future technology streams, providing engineering design support to deliver customer projects, tenders, questions and on-site execution teams, and supporting the internal business execute EV propositions embedded within the business.-
- Providing technical guidance for key C&I E-Mobility projects including supporting project delivery, being the contact point for the resolution of technical issues and ensuring a positive customer experience and ongoing performance of the system.- Working closely with other technical leads within AGL to develop integrated solutions to solve customer problems (e.g. battery, solar, demand response).- Attending site inspections, project meetings and site acceptance testing for key E-Mobility projects where required, and continuously monitor and review engineering processes to maintain industry best practice installation.

What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is essential, as is a solid track record energy or E-Mobility industries with a start-up mentality to develop a business in its infancy.- Ability to collaborate with E-Mobility suppliers, interpret product data and overlay a commercial lens to create product propositions and solve customer problems.- Familiarity with common EV monitoring platforms, communication systems and data analysis for maintenance optimisations.- Understanding of the core fundamentals of project management and project engineering coupled with an agile mindset and willingness to learn new skills to deliver value in a small team.- Strong technical written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide customer-facing presentations and documentation coupled with a strong sense of timeliness, self-motivation, and autonomy.
