Principal Project Officer

The position will build and maintain partnerships across the RTA and with external stakeholders and will at times represent the Manager Housing Legislation Implementation at internal and external forums as required.
**To be successful you will need**:
- Demonstrable understanding of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008, Rooming Accommodation Regulation 2009 and knowledge of previous rental law amendments included as part of the Housing Legislation Amendment Bill 2021.
- Demonstrable high level analytical, policy and data interpretation and evaluation skills including the ability to integrate multiple related activities to achieve deliverables and outcomes.
- Expertise in preparing and reviewing complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, agenda papers, and other correspondence for high-level stakeholders.
- Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication and skills for use in a complex project environment.
