**About the role**:
What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you’ll develop and implement strategic communication plans aimed at increasing engagement with team members across Coles Group while supporting the delivery of key change initiatives.

**You’ll also**:

- Develop and implement strategic internal communications plans to support the delivery of key change and transformation initiatives, including for store teams.
- Drive Coles team member adoption and engagement with effective internal communications content including executive communications, intranet content, social platforms, events and newsletters.
- Work closely with stakeholders to create high quality internal communications across multiple channels and media (including video, graphics, social media posts, messages).
- Work closely with the Internal Communications and Corporate Affairs teams in delivering key internal communication activities for strategic projects and announcements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging across all communication channels.

With over 7 years’ experience, you’re a modern-day communicator with a passion for driving employee engagement and embedding Coles Group’s vision, purpose and strategy. You have proven experience working building and delivering integrated communications plans to ensure our team members feel engaged, informed and inspired. Confident and collaborative, you build trusted relationships with ease and navigate multiple stakeholder priorities.

**You’ll also need**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with developing and implementing strategic internal communications plans.
- Experience creating engaging content across a wide range of media.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Familiarity with graphic design, desktop publishing and video editing software.
