**Hotel Manager**
We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated hands-on Hotel Manager, to join our busy team at the Adelaide Royal Coach. Your main role will be taking the lead in Front Office and Housekeeping Operations. Our Accommodation inventory is increased to total 115 rooms over 2 sites. Our front office & housekeeping teams have always provided a consistent and high-quality standard of guest services and particular focus on training for increase of inventory is required to ensure continuing efficient and profitable operation of the hotel.
Our restaurant is open 5 days a week for dinner, as well as having a large conference business.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Management of overall operations whilst on shift;
- Work within set budgets in relation to wage costs and ensure rosters are compiled and adjusted appropriate to demand;
- Leadership of all team members and functionality within rooms division, food and beverage and management of operations in the absence of Department Managers as required;
- Ensure guest feedback is recorded accurately and action any service recovery process in a prompt and efficient manner;
- Assist the team in ensuring hotel specific standard operating procedures are adhered to;
- Ensure all accounting practices and processes are achieved per hotel specific standard operating procedures;
- Work closely with all departments to deliver brand standard accommodation rooms, food and beverage products and a high standard of services; and
- Actively contribute towards reaching agreed hotel performance targets and objectives.
- A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work;
- Front Office Experience
- Be hands on and not afraid to jump in and help in all departments.
- Comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation and managing costs particularly controlling wages;
- Prior experience in leading, developing and mentoring a team;
- Initiative, commitment and passion for your job;
- The ability to communicate effectively with the team at large and department managers;
- An ability to thrive under pressure and direct your team in a high paced environment;
- Proven ability to be a proactive individual with strong organisational and time management skills;
- Demonstrated understanding of the Liquor Act and compliance;
- Demonstrated understanding of Hospitality Industry (General) Award compliance; and
- A strong appreciation and compliance of workplace safety.
Minimum qualifications required: At least Diploma in Hospitality Management or Hotel Management
Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
