IDT Australia is a publicly listed Australian pharmaceutical developer and manufacturer, based in Boronia Victoria. Partnering with pharmaceutical leaders IDT specialises in the development and the commercial manufacture of high potency active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and finished drug products for local and international markets.

We are seeking a **Site Services Lead** based at our Boronia site, this hands-on role is responsible for overseeing and managing cleaning, sanitation, building maintenance, and site services functions across IDT facilities. The Site Services Lead ensures that all buildings, infrastructure, and critical assets are maintained to the highest standards of cGMP compliance, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.

The role involves managing a team of internal and external cleaning, maintenance, and site service personnel, ensuring effective preventative maintenance, sanitation, and security operations. The role will also be instrumental in risk mitigation, compliance adherence, and continuous improvement within the facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilities Management & Building Maintenance - Oversee planned and reactive maintenance for site buildings, infrastructure, and facility assets.
- Cleaning & Sanitation (cGMP Compliance) - Lead and oversee cleaning and sanitation activities in manufacturing, laboratory, and office environments to the highest level of GMP compliance.
- Site Maintenance & Groundskeeping - Coordinate general maintenance and upkeep of all IDT facilities, including common areas, landscaping, and infrastructure.
- Safety - Identify and control workplace hazards and risks associated with cleaning, sanitation, and building maintenance.
- Security - Ensure appropriate systems are in place to maintain and security across all sites, buildings and facilities.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in cleaning or cleaning validation, sanitation, facility, and building maintenance within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, food manufacturing, GMP-regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing facility services, site maintenance, security, and cleaning teams.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards, environmental monitoring, and cleaning validation.
- Experience with groundskeeping, pest control, waste management, and security.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, building regulations, and emergency response planning.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and extended periods of standing/walking.
- Strong personal organisation and planning skills and ability to structure and coordinate work of team in order to deliver on team results and individual work commitments.

**Additional requirements**
- Forklift license (preferred but not required).
- Police check and employment medical required for role.
