About the Role
Work closely with the Clinical Systems Support Lead, and the Nursing Director Health Informatics, in the operational management of the CHQ clinical information systems with a focus on system change management activities, business continuity and end user support
Liaise and communicate with the CHQ Digital Health Services partners in the delivery of the CHQ Health Informatics Program for example other HHSs, Pathology Queensland, eHealth, Clinical Excellence Queensland
Provide expert knowledge and advice of the clinical systems used throughout the CHQ, including business continuity processes, changes management, business rules and system and workflow testing.
Manage the state-wide clinical systems changes in consultation with CHQ digital partners, including planning, maintaining registers, testing and communication.
Provision of first line support and training to CHQ staff in the use of the various clinical information systems.
Collection of performance measures to analyse data, monitor and evaluate benefits realised by the introduction of the CHQ clinical systems with consideration given to the identification of quality and service improvement activities.
Coordination and planning of the Health Informatics team activities and general administrative tasks, as allocated by the Clinical Systems Support Lead, and the Nursing Director Health Informatics
Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resources management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
