**ABOUT THE ROLE
**Origin is leading the transition to net zero through clean energy and customer solutions. Gas forms an essential part of the energy mix during the transition and Origin, via the Integrated Gas business unit, is continuing to invest in gas exploration and production throughout Australia.**

**The Regulatory Advisor is part of a small team of regulatory specialists, experts in engagement, compliance and project management who work to create value and protect the APLNG Gas Portfolio. This role will frequently collaborate with stakeholders involved in the gas portfolio value chain.**

**More about the role**:

- Lead CSG Marketing’s regulatory compliance function, incorporating the preparation, data collation and quality assurance processes to deliver data to regulators.
- Prepare and facilitate briefing material to inform decisionmakers.
- Maintain CSG Marketing’s regulatory obligations register, reporting calendar and data consistency across a range of reporting obligations and data sources.
- Network across upstream operations, CSG Marketing and APLNG to identify and implement regulatory solutions that improve flexibility, maximise value and reduce commercial risk.
- Collaborate with operational teams to implement new reporting obligations.
- Support CSG Marketing’s commercial, trading and analytical operations.

**ABOUT YOU**

**You are one of those rare individuals whose ability to interpret and explain regulatory obligations and definitions (often nested in complex legislation) to others is matched by your comfort with excel-based data and numbers. You are experienced, competent and confident in both areas. Your approach to work is methodical, but reflective too—you are constantly assessing and improving processes to drive ongoing improvement. You are comfortable engaging with different stakeholders and have experience in helping people deliver accurate inputs in a timely fashion.**

**More about you**
- 5 years + in a complex or large organisation, preferably in the oil or gas industry
- Project leadership experience highly regarded
- Tertiary qualified (i.e. commerce, economics, engineering, science or law)
- Experience in:

- regulatory policy and compliance, including data submissions
- interpreting regulatory obligations and analysing changes
- stakeholder management
- engaging with regulators and maintaining constructive relationships.
