**The Role**

As a Delivery Manager/Scrum Master, you are a leader who serves and enables and coaches teams to self-organize and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices. This role ensures Scrum roles, events and artefacts happen and are used as intended. You will also help the team coordinate with other teams and communicates updates to IT and Corporate leadership as needed.

You will also provide support and feedback to teams and individuals across the organisation in sprint planning, ServiceNow/Atlassian tool usage, facilitation of stand ups and retrospectives and/or other aspects agile practices. They will drive and promote an agile culture by helping to embed agile practices, focusing on iterative value delivery and lean product delivery approaches as well as help develop agile capability into teams and individuals across the organisation.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Provides expert advice and support on developing and establishing agile way of working to improve business performance.
- Coaching the team in self-organisation and cross-functionality and facilitates the team's progress towards shared goals.
- Removing impediments to the team's progress to its sprint commitments and protect the team from over-commitment.
- Facilitating scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives and daily stand-ups.
- Enacting change and continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality deliverables.
- Ensures team execution and delivery to committed sprint work.
- Raises awareness, upskills, mentors, imparts knowledge and supports adoption of agile practices to deliver value driven solutions to users/the business.

**About you**

Essential requirements
- Minimum of **8-10 years’ experience in IT** with **at least 3 years of Iteration Management/Scrum Master experience**.
- Demonstrated **Scrum Master** experience with an **Application Development team**.
- Excellent **knowledge of Agile methodologies** such as Scrum, Kanban of SAFe.
- Ability to manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Desirable requirements
- 3+ years demonstrated experience as performance development or related high-performance team coaching role.
- Coaching (Agile, Performance, Leadership).
- Successful transformation of internal engagement models to drive customer/business outcomes.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
