**About Us**:
Albany Creek State High School is located 15 kilometres on the North Side of Brisbane, with approximately 1600 students. The school receives most of its students from the Albany Creek, Albany Hills and Eatons Hill primary schools and is enrolment management which limits enrolments to within our catchment area or students who have gained successful entry into our Football (soccer), Dance, Drama, Visual Arts, Media Arts or Instrumental Music Excellence programs. Our vision 'Innovative Thinkers - Successful Learners - Connected Community' guides our focus for curriculum, teaching and learning and works in partnership with our core values; respect, responsibility, reliability and resilience which underpin high expectations and standards of student behaviour and performance.

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Leading a dynamic Science Faculty in curriculum inline with departmental and school priorities
- Develop and lead quality teaching and learning
- Form partnerships with students, parents and other organisations
- Be future oriented and strategic
