**Your new role?**
We are seeking a professional, efficient School Receptionist to join our team as one of the welcoming faces at St Andrew’s Cathedral School. This vital front-facing role helps to ensure the smooth daily operation of our reception while upholding our commitment to safety and student care.
**What will you require to be successful in this role?**
- Be willing to act as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, contractors, and visitors to the school.
- Create a warm, professional, and secure front office environment.
- Support our students as required
- An understanding of access control procedures
- Provide basic first aid to students and maintain accurate incident records (First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area that reflects the school’s values.
**About You**:
- Demonstrated experience in reception, front desk, or administrative support roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a welcoming and professional manner.
- Strong organisation, time management, and multitasking abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, discreet, and confident in handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn school systems
- A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a shared reception setting.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check is essential.
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
