**About the role**
Providing supply support services to acquisition and sustainment programs, the incumbent will:
- Carryout Sparing analysis for the vessels and the fleet, collect data, analyse and recommend spares.
- Ensure that the correct spares, equipage, support & test equipment, and training equipment is managed and provided to the customer on time and within the approved budget;
- Identify improvements to Austal supply support business processes to achieve efficiencies and reduce the scheduled time taken; and
- Manage team capability and performance against established objectives to ensure a proactive and responsive customer service culture is maintained.
- Guide Equipage coordinator for Audit of Equipage and spares for the clients.

**Key objectives & responsibilities include**:
- Development of the supply support concept to the requirements of the contract and to ensure effective vessel/equipment availability requirements are achieved.
- In collaboration with the maintenance team, assist with the specification of the ship’s spare parts and maintenance support items required by the contract;
- Manage and deliver the spares, ship’s outfit, and support & test equipment on time and on budget.
- Develop and manage the data and codification requirements relating to the supplies
- Perform effective collaboration with other disciplines including project management, configuration management, maintenance and procurement & supply chain.
- Support lean and efficient methods in delivery of contracted activities.
- Manage assigned personnel including performing staff development functions.
- Support Audit activities at Vessel / Production area along with equipage coordinator.
- Ensure essential technical documentation for the spares received are verified in line with contract, collate and submit to client.

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**

- Qualifications in supply chain management, engineering, a relevant trade and/or logistic support essential
- 5 years’ experience in logistic support
- Excellent computer skills
- Understanding the importance and role of data in the logistics program.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving and independent decision making
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
