At Medibank, we’re building a more resilient and risk aware culture which also extends to the suppliers we partner with. To make this happen, we need a Third Party Risk Manager that is passionate about developing and implementing a roadmap to transform the way we manage third party risk.

The Third Party Risk expert, reporting into the Head of Procurement Operations will:

- Lead, implement and embed Medibank’s APRA CPS230 - Material Service Provider readiness implementation program of work.
- Lead the Procurement Governance Framework development and implementation including all policies, procedures, control monitoring and compliance.
- Manage other regulatory compliance in respect of Third Parties to APRA standards HPS231 for Outsourcing, CPS234 for IT Security
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure that risks and controls are identified and managed through the Third Party Risk tool.
- Partner with management assurance teams to assist risk owners in risk mitigation.
- Identify improvement areas in collaboration with the Procurement Operations and Category Management teams and internal cross functional stakeholders.

**Now, who are you?**

You will have experience in procurement and a strong understanding of risk management with possible exposure to IT Security and Information Management.

Experienced also in managing governance frameworks and processes, you have a very strong understanding APRA regulations.

Working knowledge of CPS230 and operational risk management is highly desirable.

Project management skills are key for this position as you will need to manage the activities of a cross functional unit.

You have exceptional interpersonal skills and are driven and motivated by results.
