**Expression of Interest - ELICOS casual teaching**

**Academic English (CELUSA)**

The South Australian Institute of Business and Technology (SAIBT) has provided a pathway to students to UniSA (University of South Australia) for over 20 years.

We are now seeking expressions of interest from ESL teaching staff who wish to register for the casual teaching pool in the Academic English Program.

**ELIGILITY REQUIREMENTS**:
Essential:

- A postgraduate TESOL qualification
- Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and assessment in accordance with current language learning theories and methodologies
- Capacity to implement strategies to cater sensitively for diversity, including acknowledgement of different learning styles and approaches to study encompassing the needs and backgrounds of a diverse range of international students
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills and customer service obligations relevant to maintaining professional relationships with staff and students in a changing education environment
- Demonstrated personal commitment to professional development and maintaining currency of skills including a willingness to undertake further formal education
- Educational and information technology skills relevant for teaching and administrative outcomes.

Desirable:

- Experience in teaching ESL to ELICOS students across a range of levels
- Up to date ELICOS knowledge and teaching methodologies and materials development.
- Hybrid and online teaching experience.
