Due to rapid growth and expansion, Babcock are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Technical Officers to join our expanding team

These roles will see you have the opportunity to work within some of our key Defence programs Depending on your background and skills you could be working across our Australian Defence Force Ground Support Equipment (ADFGSE) contract or Counter - Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive (C-CBRNE) contract

The C-CBRNE capability provides leading-edge technologies to prevent and defeat chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats used against Australia’s national interests. Babcock as the Prime Vendor for the supply of C-CBRNE goods and services provides Introduction into service activities and through life sustainment of the CBRNE Fleet.

The ADF GSE contract provides support to the Army, Navy and 5th generation Air Force globally, providing capability support to a vast arrange of military platforms and systems. With full engineering authority we provide the entire SPO lifecycle function from acquisition, sustainment, through to disposal working collaboratively with our Commonwealth partners. We asset manage a large portfolio including multiple key capability fleets for defence. As a highly functioning team we provide unmatched support through our service desk to the maintenance venues and frontline operators, while proudly supporting our Australian Industry partners through maintenance services and supply of parts.

The Technical Officers are integral to these programs and form part of our high performing and efficient Technical Services Teams. The roles focus on the sustainment of the C-CBRNE/ADFGSE fleet and are responsible for complete asset management, including ensuring technical integrity, configuration management, maintenance regimes and parts and publications.

The Technical Officers are responsible for the delivery of technical support and maintenance services, this includes managing the relationships with OEMS, contracted Maintenance and Service providers, operating units, Joint Logistics Command (JLC) and Other Commonwealth Contractors.

**What will you bring?**
- Australian Citizen with an NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Certificate III (or above) in a relevant discipline (electronics, electrical, mechanical, engineering, etc.).
- Previous experience working within the Defence industry.
- Previous experience using MILIS.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and manage workload effectively.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to consistently deliver a high level of customer service.
