Ampcontrol are seeking a passionate and dynamic HSEQ Business Partner to join and support Operations based from Tomago.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
This hands-on role will give you exposure to a wide range of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality topics. You will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, support, assurance and technical expertise on HSEQ issues across our Ampcontrol Operations.

You will be required to champion and drive a strong safety culture and have a continuous improvement mindset, we value curiosity and a quick learning ability.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
You will be required to maintain a motivated and proactive approach in your support role to the wider Operations, which will include:

- Provide support, coordination and advice Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality practices, systems and procedures within our industry
- Implementation and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management Systems
- Implementation of HSEQ improvement initiatives
- Facilitation of site hazard and risk management activities
- Incident reporting and investigation
- Monitoring statistics, identifying trends and delivering action plans
- Maintenance of the safety, environmental and quality records and registers
- QA/QC improvements and corrective/preventative actions following audits to ensure agreed actions are addressed and improvement is verified.
- Coaching and supporting all teams in process improvement implementation
- Visitor and contractor inductions

You will also support your operations with the on-going compliance and retention of business critical certifications, related to safety, environment and quality.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
Along with a hands-on approach to drive HSEQ awareness and strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, you will have:

- 5 years’ experience within a similar position, in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Qualification in Health & Safety (min Cert IV WHS), or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation
- Return to Work Coordination experience
- Incident investigation experience (eg ICAM)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)
- A strong passion for delivering safety and quality
- Ability to undertake occasional travel within Australia
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
