My client is a leading global fund manager in Melbourne who has recently established a new offering within its organisation. Based out of Melbourne, your role will have a unique global focus that supports international front office portfolio management teams.
Working in a newly established team that forms part of the wider operations division, your role will have a far more analytical focus than the average "ops" role. The position will focus on supporting international Portfolio Management teams by analysing the daily trading activities and investment decisions executed across a variety of global investment strategies.
- Reporting to the head of the middle office division some of your key responsibilities include:
- Maintain the daily operations for portfolio managers.
- Provide analysis of cash flow, transaction, and portfolio holdings data to ensure accurate calculations of security data.
- Foster the relationships across various operational and portfolio management groups across the organisation
- Resolve problems independently and use your experience when elevating issues.
- Stays knowledgeable on domestic and international policies and regulations for determining how they impact best practices.
