**About the Role**
Step into a pivotal role at the heart of Financial Crime Compliance. As the Partner - Governance and Regulatory Engagement, you’ll be the driving force behind BOQ’s regulatory relationships and governance frameworks. From shaping engagement strategies with key regulators like AUSTRAC and the Australian Sanctions Office to orchestrating the secretariat function for the Financial Crime Risk Committee. Your work will directly influence how we manage risk and uphold integrity. You’ll collaborate across the Group, from Legal and Risk to frontline business units, ensuring our regulatory responses are sharp, timely, and trusted.
**About you**
You’re a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for regulatory excellence. With a strong background in Financial Crime Compliance, ideally within banking, you bring a deep understanding of AML/CTF regulations and AUSTRAC expectations. Your foundation in finance, law, or business equips you to navigate complexity with confidence. You’re known for your clear communication, executive-ready writing, and ability to build strong relationships across all levels. Whether you’re coordinating a board report or responding to a regulator, you bring calm, clarity, and credibility.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your work truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.
