**The Role**

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an industry leading organisation. As part of our Melbourne based Energy Services Metering team, this is a varied and autonomous role, seeing you partner with Meter Providers, Local Network Service Providers, New Connections and the wider Origin teams to provide specialist support for smart meter rollouts.

**More about the role**:

- Operational support for metering rollouts which includes planning and to provide guidance to metering service providers in accordance with Origin policies and procedures.
- Operational support for Meter Faults and Meter Deployment, including solutioning for complex scenario’s and working with metering providers to support this solution.
- Review procedures, processes, and work instructions to determine if compliance and operational practices are effective.
- Support the development of deployment plan for the customer segments in accordance with the marketing and sales strategies.
- Ensuring impacts and risks of such changes on the Metering Operations team are understood thoroughly and communicated, well planned for and implemented with mínimal disruption to the team and its stakeholders
- Analyzing and resolving contestable metering exceptions to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meter services to internal departments and other electricity market participants.
- Develop and monitor key Metering Systems related to Metering Deployment and Meter Faults, and leading the resolution, stabilization and continuous improvement of these related procedures.
- Support Metering Operations with change analysis for new processes, industry changes or internal requirements.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will need to demonstrate detailed National Electricity Market knowledge with a focus on Metering Coordinator, Meter Provider, Meter Data Provider and associated regulatory obligations and an understanding of National Electrical Standards. You will be a confident communicator, ensuring you build strong internal and external relationships and an analytical mindset.
