**About the Role**

Join Communify’s **Way Back Support Service**, a non-clinical recovery program supporting people after a suicide attempt or crisis. In this role, you’ll provide **practical, Individualised support with a dedicated focus on LGBTQIA+ clients**, helping them stay safe, connect with services, and rebuild their lives. **0.8 FTE Level 5 SCHCaDS.**

**What you’ll do**
- Provide non-clinical support for up to 3 months post-crisis.
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with participants and families.
- Develop safety and wellbeing plans using trauma-informed approaches.
- Connect clients with mental health, health, and community services.
- Work collaboratively with hospitals, GPs, and support providers.
- Champion inclusive practices, particularly for LGBTQIA+ communities.

**What you’ll bring**
- Qualifications in mental health, social services, or a related field.
- Experience supporting people in crisis or distress.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approaches.
- Blue Card, National Police Check, and Open QLD driver’s Licence.
