**Role Summary**:
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Thermal Generation Projects role based in Perth. The Lead Project Controller is key a member of the project control team, you will lead a team of project controllers and project support personnel who provide a service to both Thermal Generation project delivery personnel and others across the business delivering projects. These roles are essential in administering and controlling all aspects of projects including schedule development and management, maintaining project documentation, project reporting and all aspects of project financial and procurement management.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Demonstrate financial and commercial awareness, including cost control and forecasting skills and the ability to contribute to the operation of the projects
- Support the implementation of project management programmes that provide an accurate reflection of project performance at a project and programme level
- Ensure cost, schedule, health, and status reports are delivered on time and within the guidelines of the project controls processes and procedures.
- Support the Portfolio budgeting process, including development and management
- Maintain an oversight of all project activities and changes including Project process, Project documentation, DFA compliance and project governance requirements
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion to ensure outcomes are managed against expectations

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary qualification in business administration
- Previous experience in a project environment or similar
- Demonstrated understanding of project lifecycles, project methodologies, change management processes and their importance in successfully delivering projects
- Sound leadership of people and project management
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead effectively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is crucial to the success of this role
