We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all activities in the procurement lifecycle, including planning, sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, stakeholder management, and supplier management. You will perform analytical and administrative duties within the Procurement team and take accountability for nominated portfolios focused on the ICT and professional services categories. This role will require you to leverage your specialist skillset to identify and analyse procurement issues and develop options to swiftly resolve them.

The objective of this position is to support the delivery of procurement solutions, maximise value, manage risk, improve efficiencies, and achieve quality for the BOQ Group. You will ensure that procurement activities are conducted ethically and equitably, in accordance with BOQ's probity policy.
**About you**
We are seeking a passionate individual who loves all things Procurement and is eager to take on new challenges Ideally, you will have some experience in a similar role within a large organisation. Your ability to communicate, influence, and build effective stakeholder relationships will be key to your success in this role.

You are an analytical and commercially aware individual with strong interpersonal skills, who enjoys ICT and/or professional services sourcing and the evolving nature of Procurement. You have experience in supporting the assessment of procurement risks, assisting in the review and refinement of business specifications, developing negotiation strategies, and managing contracts.
