Support Worker

An Eltham-based mental health counselling/ support service is seeking to add mental health and disability support workers to the team. Support work can involve a range of tasks such as gardening, cleaning, driving to appointments, going shopping, attending classes, etc. The job is incredibly varied and depends on the clients' needs.

We are also looking to recruit someone with a background in social work to work closely with our clients in a recovery coaching setting. This involves helping our clients to better access the community and is a crucial part of our organisation. This would be suited to a social worker, social work student, or someone with similar experience in the sector.

We would also like to hire an arts therapist/ artist who is interested in working with our clients for regular group art therapy. This can also be a support worker with artistic skills.
